Behind Our Brand

Liz Escobar’s journey began far from the farm. While coffee runs in her family for generations, her path to coffee was anything but conventional. She started her career in law, and thereafter worked for international cooperations. She later trained for years in fine dining establishments, and it was there in the kitchen that she came to understand how small details can transform an experience. Liz’s move to Sweden brought attention to a crucial piece of her identity that she long felt was missing.

"I didn’t feel the absence of coffee until I experienced my first snowfall after moving to Sweden. The cold felt so strange, the coffee-filled mountains were so far away. Coffee chased away the chill of life, filling the air with a comforting, nostalgic aroma."

That pivotal moment brought her back to Colombia, where she studied coffee in depth, not just the bean and its flavor, but every part of the process, from cultivation to brewing. Every coffee she selects is a reflection of that: rooted in heritage, shaped by experience, and designed to be felt not just tasted.

"I treat every coffee as a chance to tell a story. Kissed by Liz is how I choose to share mine."
